Why Bons Temps?

Bons Temps Bars is a mobile bartending service offering “dry-hire” bartending. We are licensed and insured to responsibly serve alcohol you provide for the event. This allows hosts to pay regular retail prices without the markup of a traditional bar. The best part? You purchase what’s needed and keep what’s left! We can help curate a personalized shopping list to ensure you have everything you need

Zoho Invoicing

Our event management software Zoho offers seamless online payments and convenient access to your invoices at any time! A 3% surcharge is applied to all online payments to cover processing fees. We appreciate your understanding! After your consultation, you will receive an email with a link to your quote. Once we find a quote that fits for you, hosts will use the email link to accept the quote when paying the deposit.  

Deposit terms

A deposit equal to the first two hours of bar staffing charges is required to book any event. 

Reservations are confirmed once deposit is received and quote has been accepted via email link.

Cancellation Policy 
- Events are considered booked if applicable deposit has been made
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event are eligible for a full deposit refund minus a $150 consultation fee.
- Cancellations within 14 days result in forfeiture of the deposit and any payments made.
- Events not paid in full 14 days before the event will be canceled under these terms.
- Rescheduling is available up to 72 hours before the event without payment forfeiture. 
- Please note: Changes requested with less than 14 days' notice are not guaranteed to be accommodated. 
    We will make every effort to ensure the original staff and services are available for your new date. 
- Any last-minute changes or additional accommodations beyond the original agreement may be subject to standard billing rates.

Payment Schedules

All events must be paid in full at least 14 days before the scheduled date. Events not paid in full 7 days before the event will be canceled under the above terms. A credit card may be required on file for anticipated additional costs. 


Hosts will receive a final billing statement within 48 hours post-event, detailing all charges. Payments are due within 7 days of receiving the final invoice. Late payments will incur a late fee equal to 10% total bill.

Hourly Minimum

Our services are billed hourly per staff member(s) needed for your guest count. This transparent pricing model ensures you receive exceptional service within your budget. Hosts should anticipate a minimum of one hour before and after each event for proper setup and breakdown.

To ensure fair wages for our bartenders, we require a minimum booking of two hours, including one hour for setup. Individual exceptions may be considered upon request.

Service Area

Based in New Orleans, we serve all of South Louisiana! There is no charge within 25 miles of MSY Airport. A $50 travel fee applies for events further than 25 miles, with additional fees for greater distances.

Suggested Staffing

For optimal service the industry standard recommends at least one bartender for every 50-75 guests for a full bar, and at least one bartender for every 75 guests for beer and wine exclusive bars. Please note: underestimating head counts or demand may impact our ability to provide great service for each of your guests. Our quotes are billed hourly for one bartender per 50-75 guests.
